Mill 1 is located in the north of Çukuryurt village in Gercüş district. Çukuryurt village is located 45km southeast of Batman center and 9km northeast of Gercüş district center.

Masonry rubble stone and cas mortar were used in the building, which is placed on a sloping land. Since some of the walls of the building, which was almost completely destroyed, remained at the foundation level, its plan and architectural features cannot be understood. Of the units belonging to the building, only the water tower has survived to the present day. The height of the water tower is 4.20 meters. At the top of the water tower, there is a 0.70m-0.70m diameter trough that carries the water to the tower and operates the mill.
