The illustrated rock shelter no. 2 is located in the Arık (Dera Ser) hamlet of Bağözü village, in the Gercüş district of Batman province, in a location called "Berha Şambez" in the region. Bağözü village is located 81 km south of Batman city center and 22 km southwest of Gercüş district centre.

The figures were made with the engraving technique and were carved into the natural rock shelter 2.15m high, 1.90m deep and 5.00m wide. Among the figures engraved, there are mountain goats and floral motifs scattered in various parts of the shelter. These figures and motifs are stylized. The depictions inside the natural rock shelter are in danger of being lost due to the crusting of the bedrock and the peeling of the crust.
