The mound is located on the northern bank of Garzan Stream, 750m east of Della hamlet, 2.09km southeast of Yolkonak (Hicri) village, 3km by bird's flight northeast of Beşiri district, Batman province. The area is called Della Sulfiye by the local people living in the area.

The boundaries of the mound, which is used as agricultural land today, and the height of the cultural fill are not known. There are many scattered stone piles on the surface, which are thought to belong to the settlement of the mound but do not constitute any architectural elements. In addition, ceramic sherds dating to the 2nd and 1st millennium BC and samples of monochrome green glazed ceramics from the Late Ottoman Period were observed.
