There are no inscriptions to determine the date of construction on the Eyyubi Mosque, which is located to the east of the Sultan Suleyman Mosque in the Lower City of Hasankeyf (Wall). However, with its decoration and plan, it dates back to the 14th century. end of the 15th century. can be dated to the beginning. The decoration and plan of the mosque, which is among the most important structures of Hasankeyf, has a special value. It is estimated that this building was actually built as a mausoleum, and later converted to its present form.

This mosque, which is estimated to have been built during the Ayyubid Period, shows an unusual layout. A domed structure was placed at each of the four corners of a square-shaped central courtyard surrounded by smooth walls. This structure, which contains tombs of different structures, is most likely a mausoleum complex. On the preserved northern façade of the building and on the walls of the tombs, there are friezes of kufic writing and examples of vegetal and geometric decoration.

Today, one of the four rooms in this building complex has been turned into a warehouse, and the others have been converted into mosques by being combined with a glassed-in corridor.
