The mosque is located in the center of Kırkat village within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Kırkat village is located 70km south of Batman center and 11km west of Gercüş district center.

The second floor of the mosque, which has two floors, was built in later periods and does not show any local craftsmanship. According to the construction inscription found on the outer wall of the first floor and above the mihrab, it is known that the mosque was built in 1948 (Picture 1). The mosque has lost its originality with the repairs made later.

The mosque consists of a front entrance and a sanctuary. The front entrance is accessed through the arched entrance facing north (Picture 2). The upper cover of the front entrance, which has a square plan feature, is barrel vaulted. There are rooms to the east and west of the front entrance. The harim is accessed through the round-arched entrance to the south of the front entrance (Picture 3). Harim is divided into two areas with piers. Sahans are parallel to the mihrab and oriented east-west. The upper cover of the sanctuary is cross-vaulted, and on the altar on the south wall, verse and construction epitaph are written in a drop motif. There are also colonnades inside the mihrab (Picture 4), (Picture 5)
