Located on the opposite side of the city, on the north of the Tigris River, on a small hill, the zawiyah is built by Hz. It consists of the tomb of Imam Abdullah, who is believed to be a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad and is highly respected by the local people, and a group of structures that have developed over time around the tomb.

It is thought that the original zawiya was built in the time of the Artuqids in the 12th century, but as a result of the destruction of the zaviye, it was rebuilt in the time of Eyyubi Sultan Takyyeddin Abdullah (1249-1294), based on the place where Imam Abdullah's tomb is located. It is understood from the inscription at the entrance of the tomb that it was repaired by the Akkoyunlus in 878 (1478).
