The mill is located 3km northeast of Yakıtlı (Hermes) village in Gercüş district of Batman province. Yakıtlı Village is located 70km southeast of Batman city center and 23.9km east of Gercüş district center.

The mill consists of a water arc, a water tower and a grinding chamber. The upper cover of the rectangular-planned grinding chamber has been completely destroyed and the passage to the grinding chamber is provided through the south-facing opening. There is a rectangular planned room to the east of the grinding area. This place is thought to be the place where animals rest. The upper cover of the place has been completely destroyed and its entrance faces west. The inside of the water tower was plastered with cas. In the construction of the mill, cut stone, rubble stone, earth mortar and cas mortar were used in some places. The mill, which was exposed to destruction, has lost its function today.
