GAVUR VALLEY WATER TUNNEL

Gavur Valley is located within the borders of Hasankeyf district of Batman province. The valley is located 1.5 km southwest of Hasankeyf district center.
There are water tunnels carved into the bedrock on the western slope of the northwest part of the area called Gavur Valley. It is thought that these water tunnels met the water needs of Hasankeyf in the past. It is known that water still flows in some of these tunnels today.
