The water canal is located on the east bank of Garzan Stream in Rıdvan hamlet of Basari village, which is within the borders of Batman province Beşiri district. Basari village is located 62 km southeast of Batman city centre.

The water channel, located very close to the surface on the western slope of Rıdvan Höyük, was unearthed by treasure hunters. Approximately 25 m of it was exposed, 0.90 m wide, 1.90 m high, the canal built with rubble stone was covered with a vault. It is seen that the canal plastered with Cas mortar has been lightened with Pöhrenks from the beginning of the arch. It is thought that the channel continues from the top of the mound to the Garzan Stream.
