The residence is located in the center of the village of Bağlıca, which is located within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Baglica village is located 30km south of Batman center and 20km northwest of Gercüş district center.
The structure, which is arranged on a sloping and rocky ground, two storeys by stepping over the entrance floor, is in east-west oriented "I" plan type. The top of the building, which rises on a masonry stone wall in the south of the inner courtyard, is barrel vaulted and covered with a flat earthen roof. The connection to the upper floor is provided by a staircase with stone steps in the northwest of the building (Picture 1). (Picture 2)
The ground floor, whose entrance is on the north facade; It consists of two parallel spaces with a rectangular plan in the east-west direction. There are round-arched window openings opening outwards on the eastern façade of the spaces with barrel vaulted tops and flat, earthen drop covers. The second floor, which is used as the main living space, is reached by stone steps (Picture 3). The second floor consists of an entrance hall and two spaces. The eastern part has a rectangular plan in east-west direction; the western part has a square plan. The spaces are supported by wooden beams and covered with flat drops of earth (Picture 4). It is observed that the building, which used rubble stone and cas mortar as the main construction material, was repaired with different materials in the following periods.
