The residence is located in the center of Caliskan village, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Caliskan village is located 81 km southeast of Batman city center and 34 km northeast of Gercüş district centre.

The entrance of the house, which was built as a single storey, faces west and the entrance is rectangular in form with round arches. There is a staircase to the north of the entrance that provides access to the roof. The residence consists of a single room with a rectangular plan. There are round arched niches on the east and north walls of the room. On the south wall, there are 2 round-arched window openings, and a round-arched niche is placed between them. The interior of the house was plastered with cas and the plasters were largely poured. The cradle-vaulted dwelling was built in the form of a flat roof with earth and cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar were used in its construction. There is destruction in the unused house.
