The residence is located in the center of Karaköy (Raşiye), which is 3.40 km southeast of Hasankeyf district center.

The structure, which is positioned as terraced around the inner courtyard, has two floors. The building, which rises on a masonry stone wall, has wooden beams and a flat earthen roof. Access to the courtyard is provided by a rectangular, vaulted entrance. The ground floor consists of an iwan and vaulted spaces used as barns and warehouses on both sides of the iwan. It is understood that the spaces on the second floor, which were used as the main living space, lost their originality with the repairs made.
