The residence is located in Kırkat village of Gercüş district of Batman province. Kırkat village is located 39.35km south of Batman center and 8km west of Gercüş district center.

The house, which shows the 'L' plan feature, has 2 floors (Picture 1) and the ground floor is used as a barn. The entrance of the barn has an iwan and the iwan is barrel vaulted. The ground floor consists of two spaces, one to the west and one to the south of the iwan. The second floor is accessed by 12 rows of steps located southeast of the iwan (Picture 2). (Picture 3). The second floor consists of a hall and three rooms. The rooms are located to the west and south of the rectangular planned hall. There are window openings placed in a round arched niche on the east wall, which shows the feature of a rectangular plan in the west. There are round-arched niches in the west and north of the room, and a drop motif is placed on the niche in the north (Picture 4). The rooms in the south of the hall are rectangular in plan and there are round-arched window openings inside the rooms. Apart from these, there is also a grain storage warehouse made of mudbrick (Picture 5). The interior of the house is plastered with cas. The top of the vaulted house is made of concrete in the form of a flat roof. Cut stone, rubble stone, smooth cut stone and cas mortar were used in the building.
