The residence is located in the Şahinli hamlet of Dereköy in the Sason district of Batman province. Şahinli Village is located 6km northwest of Sason district.

The rectangular planned house in east-west direction was arranged as two storeys in masonry construction technique. In the following period, both parts of the building, which was converted into two different residences with the wall built on the ground floor and the second floor, have the same plan features.

The ground floor consists of the entrance hall and two rectangular rooms placed on the east and west of the hall. Access to the upper floor is provided by the stairs on the north side of the building. The second floor, which is used as a living area, has the same plan as the ground floor. The interior of the house is plastered with cas mortar, and it is covered with an earthen flat roof supported by wooden beams.

Some parts of the building, of which cut stone, rubble stone cas and earth mortar were used as construction materials, were repaired with non-original materials.
