The residence is located in the village of Ulaş, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Ulaş village is located 64km southeast of Batman city center and 18km east of Gercüş district center.
The entrance to the courtyard of the house, which was built in accordance with the traditional texture of the 1950s in the village of Ulaş in the Gercüş district, is provided from the east. It is seen that the ground floor of the house, which has a two-storey arrangement, is used as shelters and warehouses for animals, while the upper floor is used as a living space. The ground floor consists of two vaulted rectangular spaces extending in the north-south direction.
The 2nd floor, which constitutes the main living area, shows an 'L' shaped plan. The second floor, whose main entrance door is in the south direction, consists of three rectangular-planned spaces connected by a sofa. The window openings on the south façade of the residence, where ornamental elements are intensely encountered, are enclosed in a geometrically ornamented frame from the outside and have a round pediment. The arched faces of the pediment are enlivened with circled geometric shaped rosettes. Apart from these, there is a drop motif on the south façade and a clock motif on the west façade.
It is seen that rubble stone and partially cut stone were used as construction materials in the building. With all these features, it is understood that the building, which was built in accordance with the traditional house plan type of Gercüş, differs from its contemporaries with its decorations in its rooms and exterior.
