Memıkan Bridge is located within the borders of Gedikli hamlet of Yazıhan (Mezrik) village in Batman province Beşiri district. Yazıhan Village is located 14.7km southeast of Beşiri county, and the bridge is 750m southeast of Gedikli hamlet.

Memıkan Bridge was built on the Garzan Stream in an east-west direction. The Memıkan Bridge was probably built to connect the Garzan Plain with the mountainous region to its west. As it is understood from the remaining remains of the bridge, it is probably a round arched and four-eyed bridge. Today, there are five pier remains of the bridge structure, and three of the pier ruins have two round-arched, barrel-vaulted passageways built side by side for tunnel-style passage on the upper part. Passageways are now independent of each other and have been demolished. There are triangular shaped floodplains on the south façades of the bridge piers, and polygonal tempan walls for support on the north façades. When we look at the original remains of the Memıkan Bridge, cut stone blocks, rubble stones and cas mortar were used as construction materials. Memikan Bridge has recently been restored.
