On the slope extending northward from the caves in the east of the Lower City, a mosque-centered complex was unearthed during the 2004 excavations under the direction of  Prof. Dr. Abdüsselam ULUÇAM. The most of so-called Slope Complex, consisting of a mosque, a madrasa, a zawiya and a bachelor's bath, was destroyed (Fig. 1), (Fig. 2).

There is a mosque, which consists of a rectangular courtyard and a harim with a portico, on the south, on the top floor formed by the terracing of the slope. The sanctuary was designed with a rectangular plan and three sections. The sanctuary is covered with a dome, and the side cells are covered with a dome. There is a secret bath in the northeast of the courtyard (Fig. 3), (Fig. 4), (Fig. 5).
