Akça Mound is located just north of the Akça neighborhood of Batman city center, with a diameter of approximately 150 meters, 628 meters above the sea level, and approximately 12 meters above the neighborhood settlement.

Although there is no agricultural activity on the mound, natural destructions have been observed on the skirts of the mound. The ceramics found on the surface of the mound cover the periods from the Chalcolithic Period to the Middle Ages. Also 4-3 BC. A brown glazed pottery dated to the 16th century was also found. Apart from ceramic finds, microlith tools and obsidian finds were also found.
