The mound is located 1.37 km south of Gündüzlü (Mezerxalık) village, west of Kozluk district of Batman province. Gündüzlü village is located 6.90 km west of Kozluk district.

During the investigations in the area, many ceramic pieces, obsidian tools and bone finds were found. There are scattered stone rows on the mound that do not show any architectural structure. The mound has been severely damaged, both as a result of the rise of the river in the west of the mound and as a result of illegal excavations. As a result of the destructions, there is not much left of the cultural filling.
