Kale Arno Mound is located within the borders of Oymataş village in Batman province. Located on a natural rock, the mound is located 1 km south of Sincanlı District and 2 km south of Oymataş village. Oymataş village is located 22 km southwest of Batman city centre.

Located on the banks of the Tigris, the settlement resembles the Hırbe Merdon settlement. It is known as a castle by the villagers, but the settlement, which seems to be a mound, rests on a natural rock. A secondary road passes on the eastern skirt of the settlement. Early ceramics in the settlement, especially Ubaid? Painted ones have been observed. In previous studies at Castle Arno, it was found in BC. II. Qualified materials have been identified starting from the millennium to the Middle Ages (Gurol Barin). Plenty of obsidian and micro-tool fragments were found on the settlement.
