The complex rock dwelling is located in the center of the village of Çayüstü (Bêda) in the city center of Batman. Çayüstü village is located 20km south of Batman city center.

The rock house, whose entrance faces west, consists of a front entrance room and a main space. The front entrance room has a square plan. There are 2 window openings on the west wall of the room. The main room, located to the north of the front entrance room, has an irregular rectangular plan. There is 1 window opening on the south wall of the room, facing the front entrance room. There are niches throughout the rock dwelling to store belongings. Today, there are 2 spaces added later at the entrance of the rock house. Rubble stone and earth mortar were used in the construction of these spaces. Kaya residence is still used by Mesut Ekinci as a living space today.
