Within the borders of Batman city center, 5 single-space and 1 complex rock dwellings were identified in the area known as Harun Caves, located 2 km southwest of Batman University West Raman campus, on the banks of the Tigris River.

While 4 of the rock houses consist of a single space, one of them has gained the feature of a single space, which was formed as a result of the demolition of the common walls of a complex building. This residence has a rectangular plan and looks like a large gallery. Its entrance faces south. There are niches on the west and east walls of this residence. There is an arched niche and three small eyes on the east wall of the house. There is another warehouse-like section in the western part of the space. 4 single-spaced rock houses are generally rectangular in plan and their entrances are located in the southwest. Inside the rock dwellings, there are niches, ventilation shafts, oil lamps/candle niches and animal fastening holes. In general, as a result of natural and human damage, there were occasional ruptures and cracks in the ceilings.
