The settlement is located in the north of the Tigris River, 1.40 km northwest of Mirdese (Kumluca) village, 25 km west of the Hasankeyf district of Batman province. In addition, the settlement is located 28 km southeast of Batman city center.

A total of six rock dwellings were identified in the area. While 5 of the residences have the characteristics of a complex residence, only one residence has the characteristics of a single-space residence. In general, the rock dwellings show the same type of layout. The houses have rectangular and square plan features. There are hearth niches, ventilation shafts, lighting windows, animal feeders, animal mooring places, troughs, water transport channels to the troughs and niches in the rock dwellings.
