Rock residences are located 1.3 km southeast of Recepler village, which is within the borders of Batman centre. Recepler village is located 8.5km southeast of Batman centre.

During the studies carried out in the area, 12 rock dwellings were identified. Today, 7 of the houses used as animal shelters and warehouses are single-spaced and 5 of them are complex rock houses.

The complex consists of rock dwellings, front entrance room and main space. Access to the front rooms is via a corridor passage. The spaces have rectangular and square plan features. Single space rock dwellings have an irregular rectangular and square plan with ovalized corners. In one of the single-spaced rock dwellings, there are reliefs of Abel and Kabul, sung by the local people. However, these reliefs have been completely destroyed today and their borders are by no means clear.

There are hearth niches, bench, cistern, animal feeders, animal mooring places and niches in the rock dwellings. All of the residences in the area are subject to natural and human damage.
