Rock residences are located in the east of Yolveren village. The village of Yolveren is located 16.50 km southeast of Batman centre. During the studies carried out in the area, 5 rock dwellings were identified. Today, 4 of the houses used as animal shelters are single-spaced and 1 of them is a complex rock house.
The complex consists of a rock dwelling, a front entrance room and 1 space. The entrance to the house is located on the west side of the house. The front entrance room is rectangular and the main space is rectangular with ovalized corners.
Single space rock dwellings have rectangular and oval plans. The entrances to the houses are located on the east and west facades of the houses. The two residences are accessed through an open upper corridor, surrounded by rubble stones. In one of the dwellings, there is an opening resembling the mouth of a cistern. As can be understood from this opening, it is thought that the house was used as a cistern. Similar examples were also found in Hasankeyf.
Inside the rock dwellings, there are animal feeders, animal mooring places and niches. All of the residences in the area are subject to natural and human damage.
