The cemetery is located in Yolağzı village of Gercüş district of Batman province. Yolağzı village is located 45km southeast of Batman center and 5.65km southwest of Gercüş district center.

The cemetery is located on a wide and flat area to the west of the village. There are many old and new graves in the cemetery area, which is surrounded by a retaining wall and where burials are still carried out today (Picture 1), (Picture 2) There is also a small tomb in the cemetery area. The tomb structure, which is understood to have been built in a recent period from the building material, is called Haline Nine Tomb by the villagers. However, since the tomb does not have an inscription, we do not have clear information about the date of construction and who it belongs to (Picture 3), (Picture 4)

The early tombstones in the cemetery were generally made of limestone. Along with plant compositions and geometric ornaments, dagger motifs are also seen on the tombstones (Picture 5). (Picture 6)
