The cemetery is located in the hilly area to the east of Yolüstü (Kedile) village, which is 46 km southeast of Batman city center and 17 km east of Hasankeyf town centre.

Most of the tombs in the area, which covers an area of approximately 2500m2, have been destroyed. Very few intact tombs have survived to the present day. Most of the head and foot evidences of the tombs, whose borders were determined by covering with irregular stones, have been dismantled. Most of the tombstones do not have any writing or decoration. However, some tombstones have inscriptions and floral motifs written in Arabic letters.
