Serkevir Valley is located 1.15 km southeast of Salkımlı hamlet of Batman city center and 2.06 km west of Çayüstü village.

During the studies carried out in the Serkevir Valley, two chamosorion tombs were found. These tombs were carved into the rock in two different areas along the northern slope of the valley, in the sections where the bumps are located at the bottom of the rocks. The direction of the tombs is east-west. The fact that the tombs are in the east-west direction and carved into the rock indicates that they are probably Christian tombs.
