Yukarı Bedal settlement is located 12.62 km southeast of Batman city center and 2.00 km southeast of Kolbaşı District. Four rock tombs were encountered in the Upper Bedal settlement.

The rock tomb carved into the rock consists of 3 klines and the klines are located on the east, north and south walls of the burial chamber. The klines on the north and south walls of the burial chamber were completely destroyed. Only the kline located on the eastern wall has survived to the present day.

The entrance to the burial chamber, which has a rectangular plan, is provided from the west-facing entrance. A part of the entrance was covered with rubble stones in the following periods. There is a square-shaped niche just north of the kline on the eastern wall, and an apse (?) is located to the east of the niche. This feature brings to mind the area worshiped by Christians.
