The cemetery is located in the village of Bağlıca, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Baglica village is located 30km south of Batman center and 20km northwest of Gercüş district center.

Today, burials are still carried out in the cemetery area surrounded by a retaining wall. In addition to the late period graves, there are also early period burial structures in the graveyard where there are no writing and ornamental elements on the foot and head witnesses (Picture 1). The boundaries of these tombs, whose identity and date are unknown, were built with irregular stones (Picture 2), (Picture 3).
