The cemetery is located on a dominant hill, located 535 m southeast of Kaleyolu (Bozıkan) village in the Sason district of Batman province. Kaleyolu village is located 90km northeast of Batman city center and 24km north of Sason district center.

In the inventory studies carried out in the area, 13 cist graves and many simple burial structures were identified. Head and foot evidences of rectangular prism shaped sarcophagi were found. While some of these witnesses were made adjacent to the sarcophagus in the tombs, some of them were created by placing them in the slots located in the head and foot parts of the tombs. Witnesses of the interlocking sarcophagi are not found today. There is no inscription regarding the period of these tombs. There is natural and human destruction in the cemetery area. Due to the proximity of the tomb structures to the Bozikan Castle, they can probably be dated to the same period as the castle.
