The Cemetery Site is located in the village of Yolüstü, which is within the borders of the Sason district of Batman province. Yolüstü village is located 7km northwest of Sason district. The cemetery is located on a low hill, 1km south of the village of Yolüstü.
The cemetery area is spread over an area of approximately 109 m in the east-west direction and 78 m in the north-south direction. In the cemetery area, the old and new graves are intertwined, and it is still used as the cemetery of the village. The old tombs were built without a coffin and a pehle stone, consisting of head and foot witnesses, and placed directly on the ground. There are also tombstones created by giving human form to the witnesses of these tombs, some of which are surrounded by stones. Some of the old graves found in the area were made of regular cut stones, while others were made of irregular stones. There are also inscriptions, sword motifs, cartridge holders and cross motifs on the foot and head witnesses of the old graves.
The hilly parts of the rectangular tombstones were made in the style of sliced, triangular and round arches. The old tombs are mostly located at the top of the hill. Most of the stones of the old tombs are deformed and the motifs on them are not understood. The area is damaged due to neglect.
