The cemetery is located to the west of the village of Yolveren. Yolveren village is located 16.50 km southeast of Batman centre.

In the cemetery area, old and new graves are intertwined. There are sun, peacock, oyster, vegetal and geometric motifs made with scraping technique as well as inscriptions written in Arabic and Latin letters on the foot and head witnesses of the graves. The cemetery area could not be fully investigated due to dense grass and destruction.

There is also a Yazidi pilgrimage site to the northwest of the cemetery. This pilgrimage site has a square plan and is covered with a sliced dome. The west-facing entrance of the pilgrimage site has a rectangular form. The sliced dome is seated on three pulleys: round and polygon. There are 3 rectangular niches inside the visitation site. The pilgrimage site was built with a craftsmanship suitable for the present.
