The cemetery is located 250m southwest of the Ziyaret hamlet, 4km south of the Aşağı Umurlu (Haydar) village in the Sason district of Batman province. Asagi Umurlu village is located 52km northeast of Batman city center and 12km west of Sason town centre.

The cemetery area, spread over a large area, is surrounded by a modern retaining wall. The cemetery area measures 190m in east-west direction and 110m in north-south direction. In the cemetery area, old and new graves are intertwined. Apart from the tombs made of cut stones and flat stones, there are also tombs made of smooth cut stones. Graves with headstones in the form of serpuş were also found; Some tombs were also made in relief, and motifs of rifles, swords, daggers, shields and cartridge holders were also found. Today, there are dense grasses in the cemetery area where burials are still carried out; It was observed that it was a neglected cemetery.
