Rock Mosque is located within the borders of Kantar village in Gercüş district of Batman province. Kantar village is located 16.60km south of Batman city center and 22.54km northwest of Hasankeyf.

The mosque is carved as much as the rocky area allows, and although it does not have a very smooth plan, it has a rectangular plan. The mosque has two entrances and the entrance sections are located in the north (Picture 1). To the south, there is a mihrab carved into the rock and a small pulpit formed by making a bench in the rocky area (Picture 2). The part of the nave extends parallel to the mihrab. The dimensions of the mosque are approximately 10x6m.
