Church no. 1 is located in the village of Danalı, which is within the borders of the town of Beşiri in Batman province. Danali village is located 13 km east of Batman city center and 19 km southwest of Beşiri town centre.

The church, which was largely destroyed, has survived to the present day at its foundation level. The plan features of the narthex, naos and bema sections of the church building, which is understood to have a single nave, could be determined from the remaining wall traces. The apse to the east of the Bema section; It has a semicircular plan from the inside and is shaped as protruding outwards. There is destruction in the church, which has not seen any use today.
