The church is located on a hill overlooking the region, 1km south of the center of Serin village in Gercüş district of Batman province. Serin village is located 68km southeast of Batman city center and 24km northeast of Gercüş district center.

The church with a transverse rectangular plan, measuring 25x10 m in north-south direction, has been largely destroyed today. The top cover and exterior walls have been completely destroyed and the plan and architectural features cannot be understood as the walls remain at the foundation level. However, from the remaining traces, it is determined that the apse is in the shape of a semicircular protruding outward.
