It is located on the rocky slope in the north of the Zevruney Valley, about 2.00 km east of the Hasankeyf district center in Batman province.

The rock church with a single nave carved into the bedrock consists of four parts. The ground codes of the three sections in the east, west and south sections of the naos were kept higher. In addition, there are more than 1000 cross motifs made with scraping technique on the interior walls of the naos. There are few painted examples among the cross motifs and these examples are not well preserved.
