The mill is located in the north of the Akça hamlet of Boğazköy, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Boğazköy is located 77km southeast of Batman city center and 18km northwest of Gercüş district center.

The mill consists of a grinding chamber, a water tower and a water arc. The grinding area consists of a hall, grinding area and animal resting areas. The entrance to the mill is from the north, and this entrance opens to the rectangular planned hall. The grinding section to the west of the hall has a rectangular plan. The animal resting area to the east of the hall is rectangular in size. The upper cover of these sections has been completely destroyed and traces of the foundations have remained today. There is a water tower just south of the grinding section. The inside of the water tower was plastered with cas mortar and some of it was demolished. Water reaches the water tower from the water arc in the south. The inside of the water arc is completely filled with earth. While cut stone and rubble stone were used in the construction of the mill and cas mortar was used in the tower, it was built with a masonry stone wall in the water arc and grinding room.
