Bozıkan Castle is located in the south of Kaleyolu (Bozıkan) village of Sason district of Batman province. Kaleyolu village is located 90km northeast of Batman city center and 24km north of Sason district center.

The cistern 1 was built in the southeast corner of the bastion to the north of the castle, adjacent to the north of the outer walls. The cistern measures 9.40 m north-south and 6.00 m east-west. It has a rectangular plan and a vaulted top cover. Its interior height is 4.30m from the ground.

On the western wall of the cistern, there is an opening filled with soil. This opening is thought to be a niche. The width of the niche is 0.90m, its depth is 0.80m, and its height is 0.80m. A regular pipe system was found just south of the cistern. The upper cover of the cistern was partially destroyed, while the southern wall was completely destroyed. Cut block stones, rubble stone and cas mortar were used as construction materials.
