The water collection reservoir is located in the center of Çayüstü (Bêda) village, which is connected to the city center of Batman. Çayüstü village is located 20km south of Batman city center.

The transition to the water collection reservoir, which consists of a single section, is provided by the west-facing entrance. From this entrance, it is descended into the chamber with 7 rows of steps carved into the bedrock. The water collection reservoir, which has a rectangular plan, measures 5.00 m in the north-south direction, 3.25 m in the east-west direction and is 2.55 m high. The inside of the chamber is plastered with concrete mortar today and the plasters have been partially poured. There is an opening on the west wall of the reservoir that allows rain and snow water to reach the reservoir. At the top of this opening, there are water channels that carry the water to the reservoir. The water collection chamber is not in use today and there is damage to the entire chamber.
