The residence is located in Düzmeşe village, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Düzmeşe village is located 60km southeast of Batman city center and 9km northeast of Gercüş district center.

The two-storey house has an "L" plan. The entrance to the rectangular courtyard of the house is from the west. The ground floor is used as a barn and consists of 2 parts, east and north. These barns, which are cradle vaulted and rectangular in plan, have an entrance feature with an iwan. Access to the 2nd floor is via the stairs in the southeast of the courtyard. This floor is also used as 2 sections. The entrance of the eastern section faces west, and the entrance is rectangular in shape with a stone lintel. Consisting of 1 hall and 2 rooms, this section was built with wooden beams and a flat roof with soil on it. The entrance of the western section faces south, and this entrance has a stone lintel and rectangular form. This section consists of 1 hall and 1 room. It was made in the form of a flat roof with wooden beams and earth. Cut stone, rubble stone and cas mortar were used in the construction of the house, which is not used today. The dwelling has generally been subject to destruction.
