The residence is located in the village of Ulaş, which is within the borders of Gercüş district of Batman province. Ulaş village is located 64km southeast of Batman city center and 18km east of Gercüş district center.

The lower floor of the building, which has a two-storey arrangement, has an 'L' plan and the part to the east has a two-level arrangement from the inside. The lower floor of the building consists of three separate sections. The southernmost space is in the form of an iwan facing south and has a barrel vaulted arrangement. A deep arch is accessed to the north-south oriented staircase, which provides access to the second floor to the upper floor. The vaulted space, where the passage is provided by a rectangular door in the arch, has a rectangular plan in the north-south direction. The third space, which is passed through a door from the south side of the building, was arranged as the main living space. This place has a rectangular plan in the east-west direction and is vaulted.

The upper floor of the building is accessed by a north-south oriented staircase. The upper floor space, which has a rectangular plan in the east-west direction, has a door opening and a square window opening in the south direction. Cut stone, rubble stone, cas mortar and concrete mortar were used in the construction of the house.
