The mound is located on the south bank of the Garzan Stream, 3.5 km northeast of the Beşiri district of Batman province.

Today, there is a building belonging to Beşiri Municipality, a water tank and an active sand production site built on the mound in 1995. There is intense human destruction on and around the mound. Based on the finds on the surface of the mound, the boundaries of which could not be determined exactly as a result of the destructions, it is estimated that it spread over an area of average 80m x 76 m. Ceramic sherds belonging to the Chalcolithic Period, Bronze Age and Middle Assyrian Periods were observed on the northern slope, which has survived to the present day without being destroyed.
