Şevland Tepe is located on a high hill overlooking the Garzan Plain with conglomerate rocks, 550 m southwest of the Kumru (Kumarro) hamlet of Kütüklü (Gre Cello) village, within the borders of Beşiri district of Batman province, on the east bank of the Garzan Stream, just northeast of the Memikan Bridge. .

The boundaries of the mound area and the height of the cultural fill are known. It is observed that scattered stone rows, pithos pieces and painted ceramic pieces are spread over a very wide area on Şevland Tepe, where no architectural elements were found on it. On the northwest slope of the mound are the remains of the largely destroyed cistern structure. Illegal excavation pits are observed throughout the mound.
