YILDIZLI MOUND

Yıldızlı Höyük is located in the south of Yıldızlı village of Kozluk district of Batman province, approximately 400 meters west of Yıldızlı (Şeyhbac) Castle, and approximately 500 meters west of Garzan Stream in the northeast of Yeşilyurt Field.
A small number of pottery and pithos sherds were observed on the mound and its skirts. The mound is spread over a wide area and there are many traces of illegal excavations. Today, the mound area is used as an agricultural area by the local people.
